DATA BASE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM LAB
This lab is for III B.Tech I semester for IT students for Database Management System Lab. The basic and subject-specific software’s are installed into all the systems. A white marker board has been provided in this lab to demonstrate various concepts.
Database Management System or DBMS in short refers to the technology of storing and retrieving users’ data with utmost efficiency along with appropriate security measures. This lab enables the students to practice the concepts like information-oriented data-processing oriented framework, good formal foundation on the relational model of data, PLSQL, conceptual design, logical design and an overview of physical design, data schemas, data independence, storage and file structure and much more in the DBMS subject by developing a database.
The expected outcomes from the students are:
• Understand, appreciate and effectively explain the underlying concepts of database technologies
• Design and implement a database schema for a given problem-domain
• Normalize a database
• Populate and query a database using SQL DML/DDL commands.
• Declare and enforce integrity constraints on a database using a state-of-the-art RDBMS
• Programming PL/SQL including stored procedures, stored functions, cursors, packages.
• Design and build a GUI application using a 4GL
PYTHON PROGRAMMING LAB
This lab is for II B.Tech I semester for IT students for Python Programming Lab. The basic and subject-specific software’s are installed into all the systems. A white marker board has been provided in this lab to demonstrate various concepts.
This lab is all about the programming language Python. In this lab, students are going to try out some new ideas in this new programming language. Python is a scripting language that was invented relatively recently, and it was designed above all else to be easy to use and easy to learn, while also being very powerful. This lab enables the students to practice the concepts like Object Oriented Skills, designing Graphical user Interfaces, database applications in python.
By the end of this lab, the student is able to
• Write, Test and Debug Python Programs
• Use Conditionals and Loops for Python Programs
• Use functions and represent Compound data using Lists, Tuples and Dictionaries
• Use various applications using python
DATA STRUCTURES THROUGH C++ LAB
This lab is for II B.Tech I semester for IT students for Python Programming Lab. The basic and subject-specific software’s are installed into all the systems. A white marker board has been provided in this lab to demonstrate various concepts.
This lab is all about the programming language Data Structures through C++. In this lab, students are going to develop procedural and object oriented paradigm with concepts of streams, classes, functions, data and objects and also to understand about dynamic memory management techniques using pointers, constructors, destructors, function overloading, operator overloading, virtual functions and polymorphism, inheritance, different data structures implementation.
By the end of this lab the student is able to
• Apply the various OOPs concepts with the help of programs.
